I met many salseros from Central New Jersey who come north to dance. I went to some dances at central and south but I really don’t go there as much. I’m a northern boy and usually stay up north or go to NYC.
Two girls were looking for salsa dancing clubs Newark and Latin dance clubs in Newark. I met them at Fernandez Night Club located on 164 Fleming ave, Newark and both of them told me there really wasn’t much Latin dancing in E. Brunswick. It’s why they started taking salsa dancing lessons in Newark, NJ. I don’t really know if this is true. I’m sure there are some local salsa dance club in East Brunswick or a cafe salsa. They like going to salsa club in Northern New Jersey. I guess, we all get a little bored of our surroundings and need to explore.
If you know some E. Brunswick salsa clubs, tell us about it below. There should be more than these ladies are aware. It’s a familiar response from people coming to north jersey salsa clubs. From Morris county, Sussex county, Somerset county and Middlesex county, usually it’s the same story. There aren’t many salsa clubs.
However, I’m sure some smart business people will be putting up some of these social scenes soon. Salsa has been around for years and its popularity throughout the America and the world.
Gladys a girl I met from Dover NJ and some of her friends told me they like coming north for dancing, especially when it’s a girls night out. Morristown is much closer to Dover and has a good nightlife but she said it doesn’t really have a salsa scene. Some latin clubs in Morris County are small and she needs to come down here to get her salsa fix. Come on salseros, let us know about any clubs or salsa nights in the Morris County area. These girls shouldn’t be driving an hour on weekdays to find Newark salsa dancing instructors.
Share your experiences about a salsa club in New Jersey, we want to know. Especially salseros who have to come to the north on week days to get their little salsa fix. Sometimes, it’s difficult dancing till 2 in the morning on a Wednesday and having to drive an hour to get home. Especially if you have to go to work early in the morning.
We’ve all been there but it’s one of the sacrifices we must make. We are in this together so keep updated with Salsa-For-Fitness.com to find a salsa club in New Jersey. For me it can be difficult driving home if I’ve been dancing till morning. Exhausting, especially if I worked that day, so I sympathize with these traveling salseras.

I heard there’s a Latin night in Hoboken and Edgewater, I got to check it out. I love going there and always have fun but I don’t recall them having one. I mean they had latin nights but just a tad of salsa. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
