Salsa is a wonderful tool for people who have ADHD. If you or someone you know has this, I strongly suggest you read my article. I started taking salsa dance lessons and it has helped me in many aspects of my life.

Although, I don’t have ADHD, like many other people, I have an ailment which I have to deal with in life. The whole point of this article is dance till I can’t dance anymore or till the place closes down and once I get home I drop on my bed and fall asleep.

Yeah, it’s that easy. Dance till you drop, it works for me and salsa is the best dance form to do it with. I know this can help because it helped me sleep better at night and while I’m at it, let me tell you. Your social life will multiply 10 folds but that’s another wonderful benefit of salsa which you can read in other articles on this site.

OK, here is my story how I thought of this article.

I contacted a guy with an ADHD awareness website and we chatted for a while, basically about the graphics of his website. It’s why I called him from the beginning. I did a little research on him and it caught my attention how people with ADHD suffer from a lack of sleep.

It was interesting because so many people have this problem. For some it last for a short time and others it’s a continuous problem.

I started taking salsa lessons and I was pleasantly delighted about the benefits I received from dancing, which I will share with you.

It’s my understanding people who have ADHD may suffer from a lack of sleep. I’m sure many could relate. It can be difficult for many going to sleep at night and stressful, especially if you must work the next morning.

I had my spells of insomnia and it was hard on me but it went away. It was a stressful time in my life. These days I at times find it difficult to sleep but it was a physical condition. However, I found a great relief for it and hopefully you take my advice.

First it’s not always a bad thing if you stay up at night. If you have your own business or have a book or website to write, then it could work out. If I could stay up all night, it would give me the opportunity to write much more information for my website.

However, it must be very difficult if you have a 9 to 5 job.

Salsa may help. If you start going to a club or dance studio at 8 or 9 at night and dance till midnight, it can help you sleep better.

You’re dancing and moving your body around without the hard work out of a gym. You don’t have to change at a fitness center and find the time to go. That’s why salsa is so great; you can just get out of work and go to the closest club.

Of course, if you’re a gym person than it works out fine. Find a local fitness center which has salsa aerobics class.

You don’t know how to find one close, well just let your finger do the walking. If you live in the NJ or NY area there are clubs in NJ and clubs in NY, which I have written about here.

Also, you can easily find a place by your home or job and don’t get stressed out trying to find the right one. Just start dancing and eventually, there will be people you meet who will give the salsa download.

Start dancing, just move your body. There are so many places now giving salsa group classes, there should be no excuse. If you are shy or nervous you could also checkout salsa dance videos or online salsa dance classes.

Whatever works for you? Eventually, you’ll need to go to a place where others are dancing so you can join in the fun, dance and meet wonderful people.

Get a fantastic work out and reap the benefits. If salsa is a new world to you then get ready for an exciting new world, which you’ll not only enjoy today but probably for the rest of your life.

Remember, dance till you drop and get the best sleep of your life.
